Play café chess or online? Come by sometime!

Do you sometimes play a game of chess at a bar in Ghent, are you a student, or do you mostly play online on Chess.com or Lichess? We’d love to invite you to one of our club evenings — just to check out the vibe, or to jump straight in and play.

Low-key, no strings attached

You don’t need to become a member to come check it out. Just walk in on a Tuesday evening — there’s always someone around for a game of blitz or rapid, casual or a bit more serious, whatever you’re in the mood for.

A friendly atmosphere

We’re mostly about being friendly: you can have a drink, chat between moves, and play alongside chess players of every level. No stiff tournament feel — just enjoying the game.

Come by sometime

Check when and where we play, or get in touch if you have questions first. We’d love to meet you!
